As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorneys to join our team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Associate Attorney, whether you're an experienced litigator or a newly admitted attorney eager to build your career. While 1-3 years of experience is preferred, we welcome new attorneys with the motivation and desire to learn, and we provide the training to help you succeed. A background in workers’ compensation law is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of legal principles, excellent analytical skills, and a strong passion for guiding clients through complex legal matters. As an Associate Attorney at Schlossberg & Umholtz, you will work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services and secure favorable outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation cases from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
Collaborate with clients to gather information and build strong cases.
Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
Stay current on developments in workers’ compensation law and regulations.
Qualifications
Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
1-3 years of experience practicing law preferred.

Salary
$90,000–$120,000 based on experience, with extensive bonus opportunities. With the bonus structure, total compensation can increase to up to $300,000.
