Description
Maximus is seeking an experienced Subcontractor Manager who will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all subcontractor relationships to ensure compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, and operational goals. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal leadership and subcontractor partners, ensuring delivery excellence, cost control, and adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
**Position is contingent upon contract award.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop project scope statements
- Provide leadership of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) session to identify specific project deliverables and defining accountability per unit
- Ensure business requirements and tasks are identified to create a detailed MS Project schedule
- Manage the identified project deliverables for completion by ensuring accountability per participating unit
- Develop and monitor risk plans to ensure mitigation strategies are in place and being executed
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures
- Monitor and facilitate the tracking and resolution of issues impacting the project
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Experience:
- Prior management experience
- Experience in large-scale program transitions or start-ups
- Prior experience working with underserved or diverse communities
- Prior experience working within public assistance funding specifically in areas of childcare and vouchers
- Familiarity with procurement and subcontract negotiation processes
- Background in audit/compliance tracking (e.g., RTMs, SLA monitoring)
