Company Overview

Preservation Arts is a large multi-disciplinary conservation company based in Oakland, California. We have eight conservators in the departments of objects, outdoor sculpture, paintings and works on paper, as well as a full-time conservation and collections manager. The current object conservators have specialisms in contemporary art and plastics, ceramics and glass, and wood and furniture, and we will be looking for a specialism in a compatible area. We have a large museum-quality climate-controlled studio with some analytical equipment, and provide exceptional service to a range of clients that include museums, city institutions, galleries and important private collections.
