The mission of Futuro Health is to improve the well-being of all communities by growing the largest network of certified allied health workers in the nation. Today, we are working at the forefront of one of the largest shortages of workers in California at a time when healthcare workers are more needed than ever. If you’d like to join our efforts to up skill and prepare front line healthcare workers for pandemic response as well as credential 10,000 new healthcare workers over the next 4 years, we need your talents.
Company History
Futuro Health was formed in January 2020 through a unique partnership between Kaiser Permanente and their largest union, SEIU-UHW. Funded by $130M over the next four years, Futuro Health is creating a worker-friendly ecosystem to scale affordable and high-quality workforce training, increase mobility up career pathways, and develop high-demand skills for workers ready for the future. The consortia of partners -- including educational institutions like Western Governors University, Pima Medical Institute, Bay Area Medical Institute, MTI and others; student support organizations and training organizations like Voxy, InsideTrack, EdFund, and others -- all collaborate on developing solutions to meet the talent demands of employers and the training needs of workers.
