Clark Creek Lodge is an historic property located next to Burney Falls and Lake Britton in Northern California. Nearby is Mt. Shasta and the Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. Each summer the lodge hosts Clark Creek Adventures, week-long overnight youth camps that offer an impressive range of onsite activities plus offsite day trips to this region' s amazing natural attractions. No other camp program offers such variety in such a beautiful setting.

Company History

Clark Creek Lodge now teams with AndrewsCamps, an ACA accredited leader in youth camping programs, to offer Clark Creek Adventures. These camps provide a richness of experiences. On the Clark Creek property itself there is a paintball competition area, an ATV track, rifle range, archery area, other sports including volleyball, basketball, pickleball, soccer. Campers enjoy water sports on Lake Britton including canoeing, kayaking and jet skis. Clark Creek is well-stocked. Even first-time fishermen get their catch. Clark Creek Lodge is a center for games, and social activity. Food at Clark Creek is awesome, made fresh daily. Clark Creek campers stay in modern cabins with indoor showers and comfortable beds. Campers experience the adventure of camping while enjoying modern convenience.

The position involves living with some really great young people, engaging with them in sports and other activities, participating and leading adventures both onsite and to offsite destinations (like Shasta Caverns, ascending to the rim of the Mt Lassen crater, rafting down world famous Hat Creek, engaging in water activities on Lake Britton, and just having fun being a mentor ... helping shape the values and integrity of the next generation.

Summer counselors earn a stipend of $625/wk plus a bonus at the end of the camp season. FREE room & board is provided. Many staffers save most of their earnings which makes their summer very profitable. When you apply you will be quickly scheduled for a Zoom interview with our camp director.
