Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide specialized clinical services to older adults while supervising social work staff and trainees. This role also leads case management for survivors of the Eaton Canyon fire, offering trauma-informed care, resource navigation, and emotional support. It is a funded position for two years.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans for older adults Provide individual, group, and family therapy addressing aging and trauma-related challenges Coordinate case management for fire survivors, including housing, financial assistance, and recovery services Facilitate support groups and wellness workshops Supervise and mentor social workers, interns, and trainees Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners Track program outcomes for evaluation and reporting
Requirements
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program Active LCSW license in California Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience in geriatrics or disaster recovery Supervisory training and experience required Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills Preferred Skills
Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin or Armenian preferred) Familiarity with our aging population and local recovery efforts Experience with grant-funded programs and outcome tracking Why Join Us
