We are recruiting a full-time core faculty member who is passionate about teaching full-spectrum family medicine with a focus on care of underserved communities.

Natividad is Monterey’s county hospital, located in Salinas, two hours south of San Francisco and 20 minutes from the Central Coast’s beautiful beaches. We are a 10-10-10 program at a single residency hospital, known for robust inpatient family medicine, high-volume and high-risk obstetrics, procedural training including abortion care and point of care ultrasound, and strong outpatient training in a safety net clinic serving primarily Latinx immigrant farm workers. Our longstanding community medicine curriculum supports outreach and advocacy by residents and faculty in collaboration with many community partners.  A UCSF and Touro Medical School affiliate, we have 10 clerkship students on-site year-round, as well as many 4th year elective students.   

As we serve a largely Spanish-speaking community, Spanish proficiency is required. Must be comfortable with supervising prenatal care and office procedures. Inpatient or OB (with or without CS) is desirable but not required.
