Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) — Senior Staff Position
We are seeking an experienced Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join our established and patient-centered practice. This is a senior staff position responsible for managing both adult and pediatric prosthetic and orthotic cases in a collaborative clinical environment.
About the Role: You’ll provide comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care, from evaluation through delivery and follow-up, working closely with a dedicated team of clinicians and technicians. Our ideal candidate is an empathetic and skilled practitioner who communicates effectively with patients, families, and our strong network of referring physicians.
Responsibilities: Evaluate, design, and fit custom orthotic and prosthetic devices for adult and pediatric patients. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop treatment plans. Supervise technical and support staff as needed. Participate in case management meetings and contribute to clinic protocols. Share in on-call duties on a rotating basis to ensure fair distribution of after-hours care. Qualifications: ABC or BOC certification as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO). Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive relationships with patients and referral sources. Demonstrated leadership, clinical judgment, and professional integrity.
