Description
Lender Legal PLLC, a creditor’s rights firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Florida team.
Attorneys in this position will have a minimum of 1 year of experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Florida, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.
Compensation commensurate with experience. The firm pays for 50% of healthcare benefits for employees and their families. The firm also provides paid vacation, sick time, and 401k matching. This is a fully remote position, qualified candidates can live anywhere within the state of Florida.
Requirements
- Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
- License to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Florida mortgage foreclosure is required; real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
- Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
- Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Florida (10%).
