The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor, non-tenure track.
We are seeking a seventh Allergy and Immunology specialist to join our Division. CHLA is among the nation’s leading health care facilities for children and has been consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally and number 1 in California and the Pacific region by U.S. News & World Report. The Division cares for children, adolescents and adults with a very wide spectrum of conditions including primary immunodeficiencies, asthma, food and drug sensitivities, and severe atopic dermatitis. We serve a population that has diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. This is a clinical position, and the successful candidate must be highly motivated, academically oriented and have a strong commitment to teaching and patient care. Specific experience in the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases and primary immunodeficiencies is essential. Qualifications for this position include:
- M.D. or D.O.
- American Board of Pediatrics certification or eligibility
- American Board of Allergy and Immunology certification or eligibility
- Demonstrated excellence in patient care and teaching
- California medical licensure or eligibility
