Requirements

Qualifications

Requirements for this position include at least six years of professional licensure in the United States and at least six
years of experience on non-single family residential projects. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture, including analysis, design, and specifications
  Ability to generate, develop, critically evaluate, and present architectural concepts throughout all phases of the
  design process
• Coordination with design and engineering team on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies
• Responsibility for specific technical aspects of assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, and
  recommendation of design solutions to meet client and project needs
• Thorough understanding of building and accessibility codes
• Thorough understanding of design documentation, architectural detailing, and building systems/assemblies
• Familiarity with the public bid process and its impact on drawings and specifications
• Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and staff within a studio environment
• Ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced architectural staff supporting projects
• Strong design sensibility and commitment to sustainable design; LEED accreditation is a plus
• Proficiency with BIM/3D modeling software including Revit and SketchUp, the Adobe Creative Suite, and hand
  sketching
• Strong written, graphic, and oral communication skills

Note that some Group 4 projects offer opportunities for work-related travel, including overnight travel to project sites.
