Orthopedic Hand Surgeon Opportunities
Openings in Fremont, Modesto, and Walnut Creek, California
- Fremont: Join our team of 12 surgeons which includes 6 Total Joint, 3 Sports, 2 Hand and 1 Trauma, as well as 14 experienced Physician Assistants. This Orthopedic Hand practice offers dedicated time and clinics for Hand Trauma cases with 1-2 days of OR time per week. Call is 1:12 at a Level 2/3 community trauma.
- Modesto: Join a dynamic group of clinicians at one of Kaiser Permanente’s state-of-the-art facilities in California’s Central Valley and be part of our innovative team of physicians. Whether you’re an experienced physician with extensive training and clinical expertise or a new clinician who is interested in receiving excellent on-the-job training and clinical support/mentorship, you will find all this and more with our team in the Central Valley and enjoy quality of living at its best. We offer a substantial forgivable loan (recruitment/retention bonus) and an interest-free home loan.
- Walnut Creek: Join our collegial group of 4 hand surgeons, 7 joint surgeons, 1 trauma surgeon, and 7 sports/generalists in a busy community practice. Walnut Creek is a safe, upscale, and family-oriented community, 30 minutes from San Francisco and Napa, an hour from the coast, and a few hours from the mountains for all your hobbies and interests! Call is three 24-hour home call shifts per month; it is a community-level trauma with no trauma designation and minimal overnight calls.
All jobs require:
- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA
- Competitive compensation and benefits package, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision
- Northern California Home Loan Program - up to $250,000 available for down payment, interest free for 10 years, AND NO PAYMENTS until end of 10 year period
- Moving Allowance paid directly by TPMG - up to $10,000
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer

Full-time annual salary range is $600,000 to $652,020 plus additional potential incentives up to $73,080*.Salary range listed is based on a full-time schedule. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
