We are building an accounting office where:

Financials are on time
Schedules are clean
Problems are fixed immediately
And the next month starts tight, accurate, and under control
We are hiring an Office Manager / Controller-level operator who can own the accounting function across multiple rooftops and bring discipline, structure, and speed.

 
THIS ROLE IS SIMPLE:
You make sure the books are right. Every month. No excuses.

 
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
A bulletproof month-end close process
Clean, reconciled, fully supportable schedules:

CIT
Floorplan
Warranty / Factory receivables
Contracts in Transit
AR / AP
Open ROs
Intercompany
Accruals / Prepaids
Financial statements that are:

Accurate and On time

Identification and elimination of:

Aged garbage
Unsupported balances
Lazy accounting habits
Full accountability for multi-rooftop accounting performance
 
WHAT YOU WILL NOT DO
You will not carry garbage balances month to month
You will not “figure it out later”
You will not allow sloppy reconciliations
You will not miss deadlines
 
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Automotive dealership accounting experience (non-negotiable)
Has closed financials and owned the result
Can review a schedule and immediately see what’s wrong
Builds systems instead of reacting to problems
Holds people accountable without needing constant supervision
Moves fast, thinks clearly, and executes consistently
 
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Month-end is predictable, not chaotic
Schedules are clean and current
Financials go out on time, every time
Ownership trusts the numbers without questioning them
The office runs with discipline and urgency
 
COMPENSATION
We will pay for a real operator.

If you’re average, this won’t be a fit.
If you’re elite, this will be one of the best roles you’ve had.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years experience in the Business Office as a leader.
