MPX is hiring an MPX Professional Agent to help grow our client base and strengthen relationships across the progressive movement. This is a mission-driven, relationship-centered role for someone who wants to help campaigns, operatives, consultancies, and progressive organizations access more stable employment infrastructure, benefits, and support.
In this role, you will generate qualified leads, build relationships, follow up with prospective clients and partners, support proposal development, recruit operatives and professionals, and help move opportunities toward signed agreements. You will also help maintain strong client relationships after signing by staying aware of client needs and opportunities.
This role is designed for someone who is warm, organized, self-directed, and comfortable in sales-oriented conversations. You should be able to build trust, talk clearly about value and pricing, and represent MPX well in both one-on-one conversations and broader networking environments.
Priority markets include campaigns and their operatives, state parties, Democratic consultancies, progressive organizations, and FSS prospects.
Notes on compensation:
In addition to the base salary listed below, this role includes a variable commission structure tied to signed client revenue, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of MPX fees, depending on compensation structure and deal involvement, plus a $100 bonus per signed client. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, an FSA, and a 401(k) after 1 year of employment. Standard business hours are generally 9 to 5 and flexible based on location and responsibilities. Occasional evening or weekend responsiveness may be needed when client opportunities or urgent situations arise.
This position is Hybrid/Remote. If you are in the DC area, we have an office in Tysons Corner, VA, but most of the work can be done remotely.

Requirements
Required
- Strong alignment with MPX’s mission and values in the progressive movement
- Familiarity with Democratic and progressive political spaces
- Comfort with sales work, outreach, and business development conversations
- Comfort discussing budgets, pricing, and financial value with prospects
- Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel nationwide approximately 2 to 3 times per quarter
- Ability to work from anywhere in the United States
- Comfort with some commission compensation.
Preferred
- Experience working on campaigns or within campaign employment structures
- Political sales, fundraising, business development, or recruiting experience
- Account management or client relationship experience
- Lived experience with the instability of political work and a desire to help build something better for future generations of operatives
