Tryfacta is seeking Medical Social Workers (MSW) for a temporary contract assignment in San Francisco, CA (94110). If you meet the qualifications below, apply now!
Position: Medical Social Worker (MSW)
Location: 1001 Potrero Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedules:
Renal Center: 4×10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), weekdays, 1 opening
Emergency Dept & Inpatient Med-Surg (FLOAT): 5×8-hour shifts (8:30 AM–5:00 PM), weekdays, 4 openings
Outpatient Clinics: 5×8-hour shifts (8:30 AM–5:00 PM), weekdays, 4 openings
Weekend coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care, case management, and diagnostic evaluations.
Supervise and mentor social work staff.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for behavioral health services.
Monitor staff performance and participate in professional development.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in social work, mental health counseling, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of patient care protocols, case management strategies, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Active Social worker license in California. - Six (6) months (1000 hours) of social work experience in a health care setting. This experience may be gained from supervised field placement during Master's in Social Work (MSW) program or from post-graduate social work experience.
