- Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer
Description
We are seeking talented Landscape Architects / Landscape Designers with a minimum of 8 years' experience to join our studio. Our practice encompasses all aspects of Landscape Architecture and Site Planning with foremost experience in luxury Hotel/Resort Planning and Design, Master Planning, Mixed-Use and Community Development, and Estate Residential Design. In addition to a broad portfolio of work within California, the firm and staff has extensive project experience throughout the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe.
Applicants should be licensed landscape architects with experience managing all aspects of landscape architecture, have strong hand graphic skills along with the ability to direct others and oversee projects larger projects. We are looking for a team member who can work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team collaboratively as well as independently and who brings artistry and thoughtfulness to the design process.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
- At least 8 years’ experience working in a Landscape Architecture firm
- Successful management of complex projects and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to develop design ideas and solutions from concept through construction
- Excellent hand and computer graphic skills
- Technical knowledge and ability to produce Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents, including: site details, materials selection, grading, and planting
- Perform construction observation
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication
- Successful management of complex projects and collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
- Self-motivation with the ability to manage and mentor team members as well as work individually
- Ability to package SD, DD & CD submittals
- Problem Solving and Organizational Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign & Photoshop) and Microsoft Office programs
