Job Description:
Directs, administers, and coordinates the activities of the Rancho Murieta Association (RMA) in support of the governing documents of the Association, including but not limited to the RMA CC&Rs and Bylaws, and other policies and objectives established by the Board of Directors by performing duties personally or through subordinates. The General Manager reports to the Board of Directors through the Board President.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of the annual operating and reserve budgets, implementing policies, supervising employees, and serving as the primary contact for members and residents. The General Manager negotiates contracts, attends board meetings, ensures timely financial reporting, and maintains records and property inventory. Additionally, they are tasked with purchasing necessary supplies within budgetary constraints and making recommendations to the Board regarding financial and operational matters.
Requirements
Skills, Abilities, Strengths: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear community messages, support high-quality resident engagement, and communicate enforcement decisions consistently, fairly, and respectfully.
Strong understanding of HOA governance, compliance standards, and statutory requirements.
Strong proficiency and comfort with community management software such as Enumerate Central or TOPS.
Must be very responsive, effectively manage strong personalities, and run organized and efficient meetings.
Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of experience in homeowner association management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
A Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) or Professional Community Association Management (PCAM) is desirable. A valid California driver's license is required.

Office location is in Rancho Murieta, CA 95683
