Description

We are seeking a full-time surgical ophthalmologist with the opportunity for partnership. The Visalia Eye Center was established in 1973, and is a 2 full-time ophthalmologist, 1 part time ophthalmologist and 1 optometrist practice, that includes an onsite surgery center, optical, all laser LASIK suite, and cornea cross-linking.  The clinic consists of 10 exam lanes and multiple testing rooms.  The surgery center has 2 operating suites, and a YAG/Argon/SLT laser room.  The building is over 10,000 square feet.

Visalia is a rapidly growing city, with a population now over 146,000. The practice draws from a population of over 700,000 from 2 counties. Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks are nearby, and the beautiful California coast is 2 hours away. Los Angeles and San Francisco are within easy driving distances also. Many outdoor activities are available locally including hiking, cycling, mountain biking, skiing (water and snow), boating, seasonal rafting, fishing, hunting and surfing.

We are looking for a candidate with integrity, who is a team player, with a strong work ethic, and who is board eligible/board certified.  Production-based bonus. A partnership track is anticipated. We will assist with relocation costs.  Our area would benefit from an additional comprehensive ophthalmologist, glaucoma specialist, and/or cornea specialist.
