Massage Therapist – IMTI (San Diego)

Integrated Movement Therapy Institute (IMTI) is a performancedriven rehab and training center working with active adults, athletes, and clients recovering from pain and injury.

Role Summary
We’re seeking a licensed Massage Therapist who loves clinical and sports work (not spa) to provide targeted softtissue treatment that supports rehab and performance programs.

What You’ll Do

Perform focused intake and deliver deep tissue, sports, and corrective softtissue work

Collaborate with our rehab/performance team on shared client goals

Educate clients on recovery and mobility drills

Document sessions clearly and manage a professional, ontime schedule

Requirements

Job Requirements – IMTI Massage Therapist

Current California Massage Therapist (CMT) license in good standing

Completion of an accredited massage therapy program with required hours for CA

Proof of professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain before start date)

Strong handson skills in deep tissue and/or sports massage/ Medical Massage

Ability to perform multiple 50–60 minute sessions per shift with safe body mechanics

Comfortable working with clients in pain, postinjury, or postsurgery (within massage scope)

Basic understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and common orthopedic conditions

Willingness to collaborate with rehab and performance staff on shared client plans

Clear, professional verbal and written communication

Reliable, punctual, and organized with schedule and documentation

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)

Must be a team player
