The Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) is the national peak body for Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Nurses in Australia. The ACNP is active in advancing nursing practice and improving access to health care at state and federal level. The ACNP has seats on several National Peak Advisory Committees. The ACNP is currently administering $83 million in government scholarship grants for Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Scholarships, Midwifery Scholarships and Aged Care.
The ACNP Board is seeking an experienced Pro Bono Director with experience in board and corporate governance. The college has undergone rapid growth in membership and diversification of services for members.
The Board is looking for an accomplished Company Director with extensive board governance experience, sound financial management experience, and a strong commitment to ethical leadership to augment the existing skill sets on the Board.
With a proven track record serving on boards across the not-for-profit / member-based sector. This director will bring deep expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
