- Civil Litigation Associate
Description
Distinguished North County San Diego law firm is seeking to add two skilled and motivated associate attorneys to our accomplished litigation team.
The ideal candidates will have 2-7 years of civil litigation experience and be admitted to practice in California. Candidates should have hands-on experience managing all phases of litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions and preparing matters through trial. Strong writing, analytical and communication skills are essential. Experience in employment law, public entity defense, and/or federal court is a plus, but not required.
Our practice focuses on litigation defense for public entities, insurance carriers and corporate clients, with a statewide practice spanning both state and federal courts. Our matters include civil rights, employment, personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, development and construction, inverse condemnation, and writs and appeals. Associates gain exposure across multiple practice areas and are entrusted with meaningful responsibility.
We are a fast-paced firm with an impeccable reputation, built on the strength of our attorneys and support staff. We seek candidates who are dependable, proactive, detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
Our firm values work–life balance and actively supports professional growth. We offer a hybrid work schedule, a relaxed and collegial office culture, platinum-level health benefits, pre-tax FSA/DCA, a generous bonus structure, profit-sharing and a 401(k) plan.
If you are looking to join a collaborative team where your contributions are valued, please submit your resume, references, and a writing sample for consideration.
