Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced individual who is passionate about driving channel growth through the use of B2B Marketing strategies, leveraging Insights-driven tactics and programs to engage customers and support team wins.
As Associate Brand Manager for the Foodservice segment of Bimbo Bakeries USA, you will be responsible for developing wholistic marketing plans for business areas of focus and new product launches to enable our nation-wide Sales team to win in the market. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with Consumer Insights, Sales, commercialization, Product Development, Brand team partners, Data Management team, and the foodservice marketing agency. The associate will be responsible for serving as liaison between our team and our agency partners to execute marketing plans that differentiate our product brand in the marketplace.

We bake, move, market, and sell products for the away from home channel. Our dynamic portfolio of innovative baked goods and beloved brands reaches the hands of consumers everywhere.
This role supports the away-from-home foodservice marketing team with a growing and dynamic portfolio of beloved products and brands. Our reach extends across North America as we partner with major restaurant chains, contract management companies and best-in-class national distribution partners. Our dedicated foodservice portfolio of center-of-the-plate products includes activation against high caliber brands including St. Pierre Brioche, Thomas’, Sara Lee, Goldminer Sourdough, as well as Bay’s English Muffins and Lender’s Bagels. In addition, we engage with the brands from across our sweet baked goods products.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Execute development of foodservice product marketing strategy in close coordination with Marketing Director, Consumer Insights, Innovation, Research & Development (R&D), Manufacturing, Sales team, partner agency and Key Customers.
- Understand foodservice channel strategies and trends to identify key needs and engagement opportunities with customers.
- Partner with product and customer teams to develop comprehensive plans that achieve volume growth and support Marketing activation metrics.
- Develop strong, collaborative partnerships with Sales team to gain deep knowledge of B2B customer decision tree to inform program development.
- Serve as day-to-day contact for select key customers in the development and implementation of marketing efforts.
- Develop program briefs for agency partner to customize product positioning and product launches with tactics that support customer engagement.
- Support media plan implementation and digital marketing efforts, including website management, with external vendors.
- Manage select national tradeshow events and support needs of regional events.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of product information critical to customers and insure GS1 compliance of Bimbo Bakehouse foodservice portfolio.
- Proactively act as a champion of the Foodservice Team and build organizational energy, understanding and enthusiasm behind the power and capabilities of Foodservice Marketing.
- Willing to travel 15% to stay engaged with key customers and internal stakeholders.

Education and Work History:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
- Minimum of 3 years’ Marketing experience, Foodservice industry highly preferred.
- An undergraduate degree in Foodservice Marketing or Business, MBA a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of marketing plan components, development and execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
