Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Training and mentoring the Outside Service Staff
• Maintain the golf cart fleet to ensure the cleanliness and the maintenance programs are being implemented.
• Assist in Outside Service staff discipline including oral warning, written warnings, suspension, and termination.
• Lead in recruiting and hiring of the Outside Service Staff.
• Assist payroll with time edits for the Outside Service Staff.
• Responsible for oversight on Visage GPS cart system including overall theme, action zones, pace of play, live tracking, and all other functions of the system.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory
• Assist with starting groups on the first tee in order to provide an introduction to the golf course and to ensure proper policies and procedures are carried out on to the golf course.
• Stays current with marketing objectives & initiatives. Takes an active role in making impressions on sales prospects as well as all members and their guests. Continually strives to learn about Stonebrae and instill this culture to other members of the staff.
• Implement tournament ideas and events to attract all different levels of membership.
• Assist with member and outside tournament set-up and reception/breakdown. In addition assist with tournament billing, scoring, and scoreboard creation.
• Assist with golf handicap maintenance.
• Assist in coordinating club repair "in house" as well as setting up club repair return authorizations with vendors and maintaining Return Authorization Log.
• Assist in rental set inventory and control.
• Meet or exceed the budgeted expenses (supplies, payroll) while not compromising the service and experience.
• Assist in coding invoices.
• Assist with clinics, camps, and other Instructional programing when asked.
• Work with Head Golf Professional to run all Major Member Tournaments.
• Help facilitate member experience at other facilities along with facilitating non-member groups at Stonebrae.
• Assist in coordinating uniform needs.
• Assist in coordinating Golf Department staff outings.
• Assist in coordinating radio policies and procedures.
• Assist in creating team-building by planning staff outings and events.
• Assist in mentoring the Golf Department Staff for success.
• Uphold and lead by example with all departments on and off property.
• Other duties as assigned by Head Golf Professional.
• Golf shop counter operations such as answer phone, tee time reservations, and golf shop sales and customer service.
• Assist with non-golf event set-up and operations when asked.
