Description

This role is responsible for supporting the strategic development of a complex commuter rail proposal and requires expertise in written communication and project management. Responsibilities include the development, maintenance, and execution of a compliant and compelling proposal. The Proposal Writer must demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Requirements

• Coordinate and support the end-to-end proposal development process, from intake to final submission
• Review RFP to identify requirements, compliance needs, and deadlines
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape win themes, messaging, and positioning across written and visual proposal materials
• Draft, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
• Customize resumes, project profiles, and boilerplate content
• Maintain and update a proposal content library, including resumes, project sheets, and standard narratives
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism
• Track proposal progress and maintain organized records of submissions and outcomes
• Support the development of presentations, interview materials, and related collateral as needed
